HP Pavilion 10-e010nr Review
Affordable laptops like HP Pavilion 10-e010nr are always on demand. You can still do tons of things with it yet pay very little money. This HP's price is definitely one of the cheapest yet it has useful features like the touchscreen. But hold on for a moment. Let me tell you its goods and bads below.
In case you're already convinced about HP Pavilion 10-e010nr and want to get it I recommend Amazon.com. By the time of writing this review the laptop was on free shipping promotion. There was also a small discount. Perhaps you want to take a look at Amazon yourself to find out the latest situation.Curious? Click here to see the current situation...
On the other hand, if you're sure you want a tiny notebook there's nothing wrong with getting it. The modest specs of 1.0GHz CPU and 2GB RAM are nothing to brag about but can run your everyday apps (like Internet & Email) no problem. Also HD videos from Youtube work well on it.
There's one caveat though. The laptop is equipped with Windows 8. You might have heard about the difficulties people have had with it. To some extent that's because Windows 8 requires touchscreen and only few laptops have it. Well, this HP features a touchscreen (albeit a small one) so you shouldn't have too many problems with Windows 8. It just takes a day or two to get used to.
In addition, the other specs of this HP are not meant for games either. To name one, the 10.1" screen wouldn't give excellent gaming experience. You'd have hard time to see what's going on on the screen.
It's also safe to assume that the 320GB hard drive would be too small for professionals working with huge files. And as the last nail in the coffin, doing any graphics work with the tiny screen would be challenging to say the least.
But if you're not stationary but rather a traveling businessman having such a small laptop is ideal. At 3.2 pounds and 10.1 inches you don't need to worry about the weight. It goes anywhere and traveling with it, say in a plane, is a breeze.
See how it compares to other laptops!
HP Pavilion 10-e010nr Summary
Getting HP Pavilion 10-e010nr for people who are on the move is something to think about. It's very effortless to take with wherever you go. At the same time, the HP offers basic performance to accommodate your everyday computer needs (including internet browsing, email sending and Skype calling).
To be honest, it's still very basic laptop. A power user or gamer would find no joy in it. The system's just too slow for them. Also a casual user who doesn't move his laptop (or does so very rarely) would get no benefit from the laptop's small size.
All in all, I'd imagine a student or businessman would get the most out of this computer because of the portability and modest specs. Performance-wise, you won't go too far with it, but you can't get everything with so little money. So for your portable notebook needs you might've found a keeper. Give it a try if you're interested in something small and simple.
